Ohio Masonic Home Day
OHIO MASONIC HOME DAY
Thanks to everyone who attended, participated in or worked to make the 26th annual Ohio Masonic Home Day at Springfield Masonic Community one of the best yet.
The clouds faded and sunshine filled the day with more than 2,100 people attending. This year’s highlight was the special ceremony honoring the many veterans who served our country in the Korean and Vietnam wars with the dedication of two monuments and rededication to the World War I and II monument. It took place in front of Bushnell Hall, the castle, and was led by Grand Master Terry W. Posey and fellow Grand Lodge officers.
More than 2,000 also visited the Traveling Wall Vietnam Veterans Memorial, a half-scale model of the memorial in Washington, D.C. which added to the tribute to veterans.
Here is the official program for more on Home Day 2010.
