CEO's Message
David Bannerman, CEO
If you are looking for a retirement community for yourself or a loved one, I encourage you to consider the three subsidiary campuses of the 115-year-old Ohio Masonic Home.
Although our retirement communities operate on the Masonic principles and values, a Masonic affiliation is not required for residency. For those of you who are familiar with Freemasonry, the concepts of Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth need no explanation. For those who have not studied these Masonic tenets, please understand that we strive to treat each individual with respect, meet the needs of every resident and distinguish ourselves by our honesty.
The Ohio Masonic Home and its subsidiary operations in Medina "(south of Cleveland), Waterville (near Toledo) and Springfield (between Dayton and Columbus) is equipped to respond to the changing environment in the long-term care industry. We are studying trends that indicate a growing desire for people to remain in their homes as long as possible and we are developing programs to fulfill those desires. We are amending our campus-based programs to meet the needs of our residents.
Each of our campuses offers unique benefits. The Browning Masonic Community Waterville campus near Toledo is situated on the banks of the Maumee River, offering some of the best fishing across the road in the Farnsworth Metropark. With more than 300 acres, BMC offers a peaceful environment in a country setting.
Western Reserve Masonic Community is located in one of the fastest growing counties in the United States. It is convenient to shopping and the city, while maintaining the feel of country living. It is located close to the larger cities of Cleveland and Akron, where other attractions await. The campus has 229 acres with several scenic areas for rest and recreation.
Springfield Masonic Community, located on the banks of the Mad River in the Miami Valley, is spread across several hundred acres and in close proximity to major highways. This location also offers a tranquil, country setting that is close to other conveniences. The larger cities of Dayton and Columbus are within just driving distance and the area is rich in historical heritage.
You can learn more about our organization and each of our campuses by clicking on the community names on this Web site. You can click on "contact us" and we'll provide any additional information you may need.
Sincerely,
David Bannerman, CEO
